2019 SUNYAC Cross Country Championship

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) is set for this year's men's and women's cross country championships, Saturday, hosted by New Paltz.

When: Saturday, November 2, 2019

           Men's 8K race starts at 10:45 am

           Women's 6K race starts at 11:45 am

Where: Hudson Valley Sports Dome in New Paltz, N.Y.

            Address: 240 Milton Turnpike, Milton, N.Y. 12547

Who: All 10 member institutions, both men's and women's teams - Brockport, Buffalo State, Cortland, Fredonia, Geneseo, New Paltz, Oneonta, Oswego, Plattsburgh, Potsdam

Men's Championship: Geneseo men won the last five men's cross country championships and captured 15 of the last 19 SUNYAC titles. Cortland is second overall with 14 titles, and Fredonia is third with eight.  

Women's Championship: Geneseo women won 18 overall SUNYAC titles since 2000. Last year's championship was Geneseo's best performance during their run, scoring 15 points to take first place. Cortland has 16 overall conference crowns, Plattsburgh and Binghamton (former member) are the only other schools with a women's cross country title.
