Pencic, Terra named SUNYAC Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Theo Pencic and Brian Terra as its Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week.

Pencic, played only one game this week but was able to do enough to earn the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week honors. Pencic and Buffalo State visited SUNYAC rival Fredonia in the middle of the week. The Bengals forward scored three goals in a 20 minute span (29th minute, 40th minute, 49th minute) to lead his team to a 4-0 win over the Blue Devils. This was Pencic's first match since September 15th after missing five games due to injury. 

Terra, helped Oswego to a 1-1 record during the week, recording seven saves and allowing only two goals. The Lakers lost to Plattsburgh 2-1, Terra made two saves and allowed two goals. In the second match Oswego defeated Potsdam 1-0, Terra made five saves and recorded the fourth shutout of his career.
