Snowden and Wirth take home PrestoSports Men's Swimming and Diving Weekly Awards

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) would like to announce this week's recipients of the PrestoSports Swimmer and Diver of the Week. Walker Snowden (Tallahassee, F.L.) and Corey Wirth (Lima, N.Y.) earned these rewards respectively.

Snowden had six wins for Oswego this weekend in helping lead the Lakers to their first victory of the season against Oneonta on Saturday. He secured first place in the 50-yard free (21.51), 100-yard fly (54.80), and led off the winning 200-yard free relay (1:29.05), adding to the 148-92 victory. Snowden also placed first in the same events against RIT on Wednesday. 

Wirth swept the diving events, placing first off the 1-meter board with a 277.45 and the 3-meter board, scoring 282.05 as the Knights competed against NCAA Division I Canisius.
