Buffalo State's LeBaron named SUNYAC Athlete of the Week for second week in a row

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Buffalo State junior Liv LeBaron (Corning, N.Y. / Corning East) as the Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the second straight week.

LeBaron had herself a great week for the Bengals, she averaged 30.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, two assists, and two steals while shooting 45 percent from the field. In the first game against Alfred State, the forward totaled 23 points, five rebounds, and four assists in only 23 minutes as Buffalo State won easily 79-49. LeBaron played even better against SUNYAC opponent Fredonia, she finished the game with 37 points, 13 rebounds, and two steals. Fredonia won the game 80-76 but LeBaron matched her career high with 37 points.
