Gatchalian batted .438 (7-of-16) with a homer, triple, two doubles, five walks, three hit by pitches, five RBI and seven runs scored in five games. He finished the week with a .625 on-base percentage. In a 15-3 win over NYU on Sunday, Gatchalian hit a two-run homer in the top of the sixth to tie the game at 2-2 and added an RBI double later in the inning as Cortland scored eight times. He also went 2-for-3 in a win over Keuka and 2-for-5 in a one-run loss at nationally fifth-ranked Johns Hopkins.
