FIELD HOCKEY DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Charap, one of the nation's leading goalies, continued her stellar play in a 1-1 week for Oswego. On Tuesday, the freshman held St. John Fisher College's nationally-ranked scoring offense to just two goals in a 2-0 defeat, well below the Cardinals' 31st-ranked 3.17 goals per game. Charap managed to slow the Fisher offense with 12 saves, just one shy of her career-best outing. The following day, Charap collected her second shutout of the season, holding host Elmira College scoreless with six saves in a 3-0 victory.
