Men's Ice Hockey's Belgrave, Bovan, Bulger, Cole, Hall, Lanyi, Shiller, and Singher Each Named AHCA All-America Scholars

GLOUCESTER, MASS. – Joshua Belgrave (Burlington, Ontario / Burlington Cougars), Dominik Bovan (Bratislava, Slovakia / Boston Jr. Bruins), Lonan Bulger (Yellowknife, Northwest Territories / Hobart College), Patrick Cole (Lancaster, N.Y. / Buffalo Jr. Sabres), Blake Hall (Fort Erie, Ontario / Fort Erie Meteors), Jake Lanyi (North Salem, N.Y. / Connecticut Jr. Rangers), Eli Shiller (Toronto, Ontario / Wellington Dukes), and Simon Singher (Beloeil, Quebec / Navan Grads) of the Plattsburgh State men's ice hockey team have been named 2024-25 Krampade/American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American Scholars, as announced by the AHCA.
In order to qualify for Krampade/AHCA All-American Scholar recognition, student-athletes must achieve a 3.75 GPA each semester and appear in 40% of the season's total games.
Lanyi is the lone graduate of the group, graduating with a degree in business administration. Belgrave is majoring in accounting and business administration, while Bovan is working towards a bachelor's in entrepreneurship and economics, and Bulger is undeclared. Shiller is a finance major, and Singher is a finance, accounting, economics, and business administration major. Cole and Hall both wrapped up their first years and are working on degrees in criminal justice and business administration, respectively.
The Cardinals concluded the 2024-25 season at 16-11-1 (8-6 SUNYAC), reaching the SUNYAC Championship game against Oswego State, where they fell to the Lakers.
