Empey helped to lead the Knights to a pair of conference victories as Geneseo defeated Cortland, 7-1, on Friday and defeated Oswego, 9-1, on Saturday. Against the Red Dragons, Empey scored a goal and added an assist. On Saturday against the Lakers, the senior forward scored his first-career hat trick, including a pair of power play goals, and dished off an assist to pace the Geneseo offense.
