Goalkeeper (East Northport, NY/Commack) Joe Brandofino helped guide the Red Dragons to a 1-0-1 record on the road in a pair of SUNYAC games last week as Cortland improved to 6-3-2 overall and 1-2-1 in the conference. In a 0-0 double-overtime tie at nationally 23rd-ranked Plattsburgh on Friday, Brandofino made two saves in posting his third shutout of the season. He followed up with five saves to collect his fourth shutout of the campaign as the Red Dragons defeated Potsdam, 4-0, on Saturday. For the two games, he posted a 0.00 GAA with seven saves and a 1.000 save percentage. Be lowered his GAA to 1.17 on the season and raised his save percentage to .780 and his record to 6-3-2.
