Sharrock was the catalyst in a huge opening day for the Hawks in Virginia Saturday. In an upset victory over No. 7 nationally ranked Randolph-Macon, Sharrock led off the game with game-opening solo home run to give her team the lead. She finished the game going 2-for-4 with two runs scored, an extra base hit and an RBI. In a Game 2 six-inning rout of Marymount, Sharrock picked up where she left off, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, a home run and four RBI. She again led off with a first-inning solo shot before rocking a two-run double in her second at-bat before producing another RBI double in the fourth to push the lead to 8-1. She was one of five players to register a hit Sunday in a re-match against Randolph Macon, and the only Hawk to tally two hits against the nationally ranked Yellow Jackets. Sharrock finished the game going 2-for-3 and against Meredith, was one of four players to earn a hit in a tough loss. She finished the game going 1-for-2, scoring the team's lone run. Overall, Sharrock opened up her junior senior, going 8-for-16 with six runs, two doubles, two home runs with five RBI, striking out just once, hitting .615 with an on-base-percentage of .643 and slugging percentage of 1.231. She totaled 16 bases and four extra base hits.
