Women’s basketball final four set
CORTLAND, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women's basketball semifinal matchups are set after first round games Tuesday night. No. 2 New Paltz, will face Brockport Friday at 5:30 p.m. followed by the top seed and host Geneseo against Cortland at 7:30 p.m.
Sixth seeded Brockport upset the third seed and host Oneonta, 70-64, Tuesday night. Hannah Rehbaum had a team-high 19 points and eight rebounds for the Golden Eagles. Cara Adams had 14 points for the Oneonta Red Dragons (15-11). Box Score
Fourth seeded Cortland defeated No. 5 Fredonia, 55-51, Tuesday at home. Alyssa Crosby scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Red Dragons while Cassidy Chapko also had 14 points. Alexis Cheatham scored a team-high 15 points for Fredonia, ending its season 17-9 overall. Box Score
