Malone averaged 19.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and two steals per game during a 2-1 week as Cortland clinched the SUNYAC regular-season title. She shot 50 percent from the floor both overall (24-of-48) and from the 3-point arc (10-of-20). Malone scored 21 points and had seven rebounds in a 97-66 home win over Buffalo State Friday that secured the Red Dragons' top seed for the SUNYAC playoffs. The following day she hit 5-of-7 3-pointers and matched her career high with 22 points in a 69-56 win over Geneseo. Malone led Cortland in scoring in all three games during the week, including a 16-point effort to go along with nine rebounds, three assists and three blocks in a loss at Buffalo State on Tuesday.
