Grunder Tabbed Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has chosen Cortland's Austin Grunder as this week's Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week.
Grunder averaged 18.3 points, 12 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in a 3-0 week for the Red Dragons. He opened the week with 20 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in an 82-62 win over visiting Geneseo Tuesday. He scored 14 points, grabbed a season-high 17 rebounds and handed out three assists in a 70-64 win at Fredonia on Friday, and the following afternoon he registered 21 points and 12 rebounds in a 63-60 victory at Brockport.
