Grunder Repeats as SUNYAC Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Austin Grunder from Cortland repeats as the SUNYAC Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 11.
Grunder averaged 31 points and 11.5 rebounds per game during two Cortland road victories. He shot 60 percent from the field overall (24-of-40), including 54 percent (7-of-13) from 3-point range, and made all seven of his free throws. He scored 36 points on 14-of-22 shooting, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked three shots in an 81-71 win at Plattsburgh Saturday, followed by 26 points, 13 rebounds and a season-high six assists in just 29 minutes in an 88-68 victory at Potsdam Sunday.
