SUNYAC Athletes Awarded ECAC Player Of The Week
The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced their player of the week awards for this past week, and two State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) athletes made the list. Ryan Duffy of SUNY Potsdam was awarded the defensive player of the week for men's lacrosse, while Katie Kleine of Fredonia State won offensive player of the week for women's lacrosse. Congratulations to both athletes on a job well done and for representing your conference and school with honor.
Ryan Duffy – SUNY Potsdam

Â
Duffy continued to put up strong numbers in two wins for Potsdam. The senior stopped all three shots he faced in just 15 minutes of action against Canton on Tuesday. He then finished just two saves shy of matching his career-high with 15 saves against Castleton on Saturday despite playing just three quarters.
Katie Kleine – Fredonia State
Senior, Defense, Cazenovia, N.Y.

Kleine filled the stat sheet in both wins, the seventh and eighth straight for the Blue Devils. Her seven assists, eight ground balls, and five caused turnovers vs. Elmira were all-season highs. She followed that with season-highs in goals (6) and points (10) vs. New Paltz. She caused seven turnovers and took six draw controls in the two games.
