PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's At-Large Teams were released on Tuesday with Cam Morin (Raynham, Mass./Bridgewater-Raynham) of the men's lacrosse team earning honors.
The Academic All-District At-Large teams honor NCAA sports that do not have a designated program currently. To be eligible for the ballot as a lacrosse student-athlete, nominees must have competed in 90% of the team's total games and also be at least a sophomore academically and carry a cumulative 3.50 GPA.
Morin, who graduated with an accounting degree this spring, carried a cumulative GPA of 3.64 and saw action in all 16 games in 2024. The senior tallied 22 points on 15 goals and seven assists, with his 15 goals ranking third on the team. He also added 19 ground balls and five caused turnovers, with his best performance of the season coming against Canton on Feb. 28 when he had four goals and one assist for a career best five points.
The men's lacrosse team finished 4-12 on the season, with the season highlighted by a three-game win streak early in the year to put them at 3-1 four games into the season.
