Tyrrell and Heyman Tabbed SUNYAC Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Oneonta sweeps this week's SUNYAC Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week awards. Junior Delroy Tyrrell is the Swimmer of the Week while freshman Benjamin Heyman is the Diver of the Week.
Tyrrell helped the Oneonta men's swimming & diving team win two relays and one individual event in the dual meet win over Oswego. In the 200-yard medley relay, Oneonta placed first at 1:40.07 and in the 200-yard freestyle relay the Red Dragons won at 1:30.38. Tyrrell placed first in the 100-yard backstroke with a 54.83.
Heyman won both the one-meter and three-meter dive against Oswego. He scored 151.70 in the one-meter and 133.40 in the three-meter.
