Cortland Sweeps SUNYAC Men's Swimming & Diving Weekly Honors
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Cortland teammates Dylan Anselment and Kazuki Kadota-Browner are the SUNYAC Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week respectivley.
Anselment broke the Cortland Holsten Pool record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.35 seconds in a time trial and also swam the anchor leg on the winning 200-yard freestyle relay that broke the Holsten Pool record in 1:25.26 as Cortland won the four-team Cortland Snow Flurries Invitational Friday and Saturday. Both previous records dated back to 1993. Anselment also won the official 50-yard freestyle race in 21.85 seconds and swam on the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:36.70), 400-yard medley relay (3:35.25) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:14.82).
Kadota-Browner won the 1-meter diving event with an 11-dive score of 503.63 points at the Cortland Snow Flurries Invitational. He helped the Red Dragons place first out of four schools in the final team standings.
