Brockport's Elmer Snags All-American Status for Second Straight Year

Brockport, NY – On Thursday, May 26th the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced the selections for the 2022 All-American teams. SUNY Brockport's star goalie Morgan Elmer was named to the All-American Second-Team.
Elmer has now earned All-American status for two straight years after being a member of the third-team last season. She earned her second straight First-Team All-SUNYAC selection and First-Team All-Region earlier this offseason. She led the SUNYAC with a .562 save percentage, ranked second with a career-high 186 saves, and second with a 9.59 goals against average. Elmer's save percentage this season was the second highest amongst all DI, DII, and DIII women's lacrosse goalies this year. With 495 saves and 38 wins in net, she finishes her career ranked second in program history in both categories.
The Golden Eagles finished the 2022 season 11-6 overall and 7-2 in SUNYAC play. They returned to the SUNYAC Semifinals for the seventh straight year before falling to Geneseo, 12-8.
