New Paltz Voted No. 1 in 2024 SUNYAC Women's Tennis Preseason Poll
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The New Paltz women's tennis team has been picked No. 1 in the 2024 SUNYAC preseason poll as voted on by the conference coaches. The Hawks will defend the title in 2025 after winning their ninth conference crown in the spring of 2024 as the top seed.
Cortland and Oneonta tied for the No. 2 spot in this year's preseason poll. Cortland was ranked second after regular season play in 2023-24 and will look to win its eighth title overall and first since 2005. Oneonta will compete to win their second-ever SUNYAC title in the spring after taking the conference crown in 2022.
