New Paltz Wins Third Straight SUNYAC Women's Tennis Championship
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - New Paltz topped Oswego, 4-0, to win its third straight and 10th overall SUNYAC women's tennis championship title, Saturday at the Lane-Starke Tennis Center. With the win, the Hawks earned an automatic berth into the 2025 NCAA Division III tournament.
New Paltz's Olivia Kunz was named the SUNYAC Women's Tennis Tournament MVP after going 3-0 in tournament play. Kunz won her singles match against Plattsburgh in the semifinals on Friday and she won both her doubles matches. She did not finish her singles match vs. Oswego in the finals, but was winning 5-0.
