Oswego Men's Basketball Earns 2nd Straight NCAA Appearance

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Oswego State men's basketball team (20-8) will make its second-straight trip to the NCAA Division III Championship after earning one of 19 at-large bids during Monday's selection show. Along with it being the Lakers' second-consecutive trip to the national tournament, it is their fourth appearance in the last six years.

Oswego will face the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom Championship winner Delware Valley University (20-7), its third conference title in the last six seasons. The two squads will meet up on Friday, March 4 and will play at host institution Marietta College.

Marietta (25-3), the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season champion, will host the Colonial States Athletic Conference regular season and tournament champion Gwynedd Mercy University (21-6) in game two on Friday.

The two winners will square off in the second round game on Saturday, March 5 at Fenton Court.

Game times and ticket information will be released later Monday or Tuesday.
