Geneseo's Romito Named SUNYAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has picked Geneseo's Lauren Romito as this week's Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week.
Romito put up a dominant pair of performances for the Knights this past week, averaging 22 points per game and 12.5 rebounds with a field goal percentage of 62.5. In a win at Fredonia, she tallied 27 points and 16 rebounds, shooting 69.2 percent from the field and a perfect 9-9 from the charity stripe. Against Cortland, she posted 17 points and 9 rebounds.
