White-Principio Tabbed SUNYAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC selects Oswego's Giavanna White-Principio as its Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 9.
It was another dominant week for White-Principio in two SUNYAC wins for the Lakers. First, at Fredonia she scored a game high 24 points on 76.9 percent shooting. She also grabbed 14 rebounds for her 11th double-double of the season. Against the blue devils she added a steal and a block. Then on Saturday at Buffalo State, Giavanna scored 10 points while shotting 62.5 percent from the field, and grabbed 12 rebounds for her 12th double double of the season. Not to mention she recorded two steals as well. She stands tall at the top of the SUNYAC in rebounds per game (11.3) as well as shooting percentage (49.3) and blocks per game (2.1).
