Tama Repeats as SUNYAC Field Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - New Paltz's Rachel Tama is the SUNYAC Field Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week for the second straight week.
Tama continues to the lead the Hawks offensively in a breakout junior campaign. She scored two of he team's three goals including the game-winner late in the third quarter to break a 2-2 stalemate. Tama led all scorers with four points and eight shots. Against Oneonta Saturday, she once again led all scorers, totaling a game-high three goals and an assist for seven points on 11 shots, all of which were on goal. Her seven points were tied for fourth most in single-game program history.
