Geneseo women's baksetball clinches regular season conference title
CORTLAND, N.Y. - Geneseo (17-1) women's basketball secured the top seed going into the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship week where the top six teams will play for the 2015 SUNYAC women's basketball title.

The Knights earned a bye and the right to host the semifinal games on Friday, February 27 and championship game on Saturday. The second-seeded Cortland (14-4) also earned a bye and will play the winner of the #3 vs. #6 on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Geneseo will play the second game of the night at 7:30 p.m. against the winner of the #4 vs. #5.

The third and fourth seeds will host the quarterfinal games Tuesday, February 24. Buffalo State (9-9) will travel to New Paltz (13-5) and Plattsburgh (9-9) will be at Oneonta (10-8) at 7 p.m.

Plattsburgh was the 2014 SUNYAC women's basketball champion. Geneseo last won the crown in 2010-11.
