Plattsburgh to host SUNYAC ice hockey championship Saturday
CORTLAND, N.Y. - After Saturday's semifinal games, the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) ice hockey championship is set for top-seeded Plattsburgh to host #3 Geneseo, Saturday, March 5 at 7 p.m.
Senior forward, Michael Radisa scored the game-winning goal in overtime as #1 Plattsburgh defeated #4 Oswego, 4-3, Saturday night in Plattsburgh. Senior Spencer Finney had 26 saves for the Cardinals in goal [Box Score].
The third-seeded Geneseo topped host and second-seeded Buffalo State, 6-1, in the other semifinal game Saturday night. Senior forward, David Ripple scored two goals and freshman Devin McDonald stopped 24 shots in goal for the Knights [Box Score].
