Cortland and Fredonia to play for SUNYAC women's lacrosse title
CORTLAND, N.Y. - The top two seeded women's lacrosse teams, Cortland and Fredonia, will face off Saturday at noon for the 2015 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) title.
The Red Dragons are playing to win their 17th straight and 18th overall SUNYAC crown while Fredonia looks to capture its first-ever title.
Cortland defeated Brockport, 21-8, Friday in the first semifinal of the day at Cortland. Fredonia outlasted Geneseo, 8-3, in the second semifinal of the day.
