New Paltz Voted No. 1 in 2025 SUNYAC Women's Tennis Preseason Poll
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The New Paltz women's tennis team has been ranked No. 1 in the 2025 SUNYAC preseason poll as voted on by the conference coaches.
The Hawks will defend the SUNYAC women's tennis title this season after winning their third straight and 10th overall conference crown in the spring of 2025.
Cortland was the No. 3 seed last season. The Red Dragons will play to win their eighth overall title and first since 2005.
Plattsburgh is third in the poll. The Cardinals went into the postseason as the No. 4 seed last season. The team will compete to win its first-ever SUNYAC women's tennis title this year.
