Cortland and Brockport to face off in Mens Lacrosse championship
Top-seeded Cortland defeated No. 4 Potsdam 22-7 in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's lacrosse semifinal game this afternoon at Cortland. With the win Cortland earned the right to host the championship game Saturday at 3:30 pm.
Cortland will face No.2 Brockport who defeated No.3 Plattsburgh 7-6 today at Brockport. In their previous matchup played at Brockport, the Red Dragons beat the Golden Eagles 11-3.
The Red Dragons and head coach Steve Beville look to capture their ninth-straight SUNYAC title and 25th overall. The Golden Eagles will look to claim their first-ever SUNYAC title.
