Cortland Women's Volleyball Earns Top Seed going in to SUNYAC Postseason
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The 2024 SUNYAC women's volleyball championship bracket is set with undefeated Cortland (9-0) clinching the No. 1 seed. Buffalo State finished the regualar season 8-1 to earn the second seed. The Red Dragons and the Bengals earned a bye into the semifinals as the top two seeds. Cortland will host the final four, November 15-16.
The third-seeded Morrisville (6-3) will host No. 6 Potsdam (4-5) and No. 4 New Paltz (6-3) will host fifth-seeded Oswego (5-4) on Tuesday, November 12 at 6 p.m. in first round action.
The winner of the New Paltz/Oswego match will take on top-seeded Cortland in the semifinals, Friday, Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. Following that match at 7 p.m., Buffalo State will face the winner of Morrisville/Potsdam.
The SUNYAC women's volleyball championship match is set for Saturday, Nov. 16 at at 4 p.m. at Cortland. The Cortland Red Dragons won the 2023 championship to capture their 22nd overall conference crown, which leads the league.
