POTSDAM, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam men's lacrosse team will be packing their razors away until December 1, to participate in Mustache Madness to raise money and awareness for cancer patients and their families.
The Bears will be raising money through the HEADstrong Foundation. The organization offers "financial, residential and emotional support to families affected by cancer." Through the efforts of individuals and teams like the Bears, the foundation has raised $24 million since 2006.
The Bears have set the goal of $2500 to pay for a full month of lodging at the HEADSTRONG Foundation's Nick's House for families receiving cancer treatments. You can donate to the cause here.
