Men’s Lacrosse Participating in Cancer Awareness Mustache Madness Campaign
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Since the beginning of November, the Plattsburgh State men's lacrosse team has been competing in the Mustache Madness campaign for cancer awareness. Head coach Zach Nedbalski and assistant coach Mark Chatt, along with the men's lacrosse team, have accepted the challenge to toss their razors, as the team is growing their mustaches for families affected by cancer and hopes to fund one full month of lodging for guest families of Nick's House displaced in pursuit of cancer treatment.
All funds raised go towards the HEADstrong Foundation which can be found here.
The HEADstrong Foundation offers financial, residential, and emotional support to families affected by cancer. The foundation is based in Philadelphia and works relentlessly to provide resources for patients and their families who are receiving specialized cancer care throughout the country.
The Cardinals currently rank 10th place across 100 Division I, II, and III lacrosse programs competing this month. A full list of all team results can be found here.
The men's lacrosse team has currently raised just over $7,400 and has less than two weeks left in the campaign. To donate to the campaign please use this link to go to the Plattsburgh State men's lacrosse donation page.
