Horn and Milligan Earn First Lacrosse Honors of the Season
New Paltz junior Brianna Horn and Potsdam senior Kaci Milligan have been named the State University of the New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Lacrosse Player and Goalie of the Week, respectively, for the period ending March 11.
In addition, Milligan has been tabbed as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Mid-Atlantic Goalie of the Week.
WOMEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER- New Paltz
Brianna Horn (Wantagh, NY/Kellenberg Memorial), junior attack
New Paltz junior attack player Brianna Horn tied a pair of single-game program records in her Hawk debut against Mount Saint Mary College on Wednesday, as she scored six goals and collected nine points in New Paltz's 21-8 win over the Knights. In addition, she distributed three assists, scooped up one ground ball and controlled four draws.
WOMEN’S LACROSSE GOALIE – Potsdam
Kaci Milligan (Liverpool, NY/Bishop Ludden), senior
Senior Kaci Milligan led SUNY Potsdam to an 11-8 victory in its season opener at Clarkson on Thursday. Milligan turned aside 14 shots for a .636 save percentage.
