Sheridan and Conway selected PrestoSports Men's Lacrosse Athletes of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Brockport's Patrick Sheridan and Luke Conway as the PrestoSports Men's Lacrosse Offensie and Defensive Athletes of the Week respectively.
Sheridan combined for nine total points on six goals and three assist in the teams 17-6 victory over Morrisville State on Wednesday, and its 17-5 victory over SUNY Delhi on Saturday. Against the Mustangs, Sheridan scored a total of four goals in the game with one assist having a total of five shots on goal in the game. Facing off versus the Bronco's, Sheridan scored two goals while making two assists for four total points with three shots on goal and picking up one ground ball.
Conway, a senior defensemen for the Golden Eagles, recorded a total of eight ground balls and five caused turnovers in the teams two wins this past weekend against Morrisville State and SUNY Delhi. against Morisville on Wednesday, The Golden Eagles defeated the Mustangs by a score 17-6 in which Conway had six ground balls and two caused turnovers. In the team's other big win of the week against SUNY Delhi which saw Brockport defeat the Broncos 17-5, Conway recorded two grounds balls with three caused turnover.
