Orcutt and Russ Named PrestoSports Swimmer and Diver of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Brockport's Nicole Orcutt the PrestoSports Women's Swimmer of the Week and her teammate Kyra Russ was selected as the Diver of the Week.
Orcutt won three individual events on the day and added a relay victory as well. She recorded a time of 11:33.85 to win the 1000-yard freestyle race. She also won the 500-yard freestyle with her mark of 5:39.51. In the 200-yard butterfly she placed first with a time of 2:26.72. She was also a member of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team over the weekend.
Russ won both diving competitions she took part in over the weekend. The freshman won on the 1-meter board with a score of 245.75 and then took first place on the 3-meter board scoring 239.65 points.
