Six SUNYAC athletes from four institutions honored as All-Americans by IWLCA
The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association has honored six State University of New York (SUNYAC) Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) athletes on the IWLCA Division III All-America teams for 2014.
The 2014 SUNYAC Champions, Cortland, had two All-American first team selections, Erica Geremia and Jessica Lavelle. The Red Dragon will play Trinity College in the Division III NCAA Women's Lacrosse semifinal game on Saturday at 1pm at Gettysburg College.
Geneseo's Emily Haggerty and Oneonta's Marissa Makar both were named to the second team. Caroline Buonocore from Geneseo and Oswego goalkeeper Nicole Greco were honored on the third team.
The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American banquet on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King Prussia, Pa.
