Four SUNYAC women's lacrosse teams recognized in final IWLCA poll
The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III final poll was released and four State University of New Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) teams were recognized.
Cortland finished the 2014 season 22-1 with their only loss of the season in the NCAA semifinal game against Trinity College. The Red Dragons were No. 3 in the poll with 361 votes.
Geneseo ended their season in the third round of the NCAA Regionals falling to the eventual Champions, Salisbury University. The Knights were ranked 10th in the poll with 216 votes.
Fredonia also completed their season in the third round of the NCAA Regionals against Trinity College who finished the season as the national runner-up. The Blue Devils were 18th in the IWLCA poll.
Oneonta was not ranked in the top 20, but received votes with an overall record of 12-7 in 2014.
