Buffalo State Recognized for Academic Excellence by IWLCA
Buffalo State was one of 86 Division III women's lacrosse programs recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) as an Academic Squad for earning a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher for the 2013 season.
The Bengals earned a 3.24 GPA for the Spring 2013 semester, including nine student-athletes with a 3.50 or higher, three of whom achieved a perfect 4.00, and 15 players above a 3.00 GPA.
Buffalo State senior Carrie O'Donel and the College at Brockport juniors Allysa Maderer and Allyson Wolf earned special distinction, as student-athletes named to the 2013 Academic Honor Roll.
