Men's Track and Field Division III - Upstate
Melique Garcia – SUNY Cortland
Senior, Watervliet, N.Y.
Garcia finished first in a field of 28 sprinters in the 60-meter dash at the Cornell University Deneault Invitational. His time of 6.82 seconds is an ECAC qualifier and ranks fourth nationally in Division III.
JD Roth – SUNY Oneonta
Junior, Pearl River, NY
Topping the list of performances for a second straight week was Roth who broke two records while moving up the NCAA Division III performance list in both the shot put and weight throw. Roth eclipsed the 17 meter mark for the first time in the shot put while taking back the school record in the weight throw. Roth placed second in both events at the Deneault Invitational hosted by Cornell. He recorded distances of 17.02 meters (55 feet 10.25 inches) in the shot put and 18.39 meters (60 feet 4 inches) in the weight throw. Both distances are at the top of the SUNYAC entering next week's championships. His distance in the shot put has moved him into sixth nationally while his performance in the weight has him at No. 8.

Anna Dambacher – Fredonia StateSophomore, Divernon, Ill.
Dambacher won the 200 meter dash at the Orange & Brown Invitational hosted by RIT. Her winning time of 25.83 seconds set a new school record and qualified her for the ECAC Division III championship meet next month in Boston, Mass. She's also tied for No. 22 on the current NCAA Division III list of indoor qualifiers (she's also tied at No. 41 on the 60 meter dash list).

Swimmer of the Week
Abby Max – SUNY Geneseo
Junior, New Hartford, NY
Max was named the SUNYAC Most Outstanding Swimmer after winning three individual titles and swimming on three championship relays to lead the Geneseo women to their seventh-consecutive and 22nd overall SUNYAC Championship last week. She won the 200-yard freestyle with the fifth-fastest time in the nation this year (1:50.36), the 500-yard freestyle (4:57.07) with the eighth-fastest, and the 100-yard freestyle (51.47). Her 200-yard and 500-yard times established SUNYAC Championship meet records, while the 100-yard time was also an NCAA B-Cut qualifying time. Her three relay victories included being part of a 400-yard  medley squad that has won the event three years in a row.

Ashley Keller – Fredonia State
Senior, Lockport, NY
Keller was named Female Diver of the Meet for the second straight year after sweeping the one-meter and three-meter springboard diving titles at the 2014 SUNYAC championship meet. It was the third straight year she has won the 1-meter title and the first time she has been crowned three-meter champ. It also marked the ninth straight season Fredonia State has claimed the Female Diver of the Meet award.

John Nasky – SUNY Geneseo
Junior, Rochester, NY
Nasky was named the SUNYAC Most Outstanding Swimmer after leading the Knights to their 21st overall SUNYAC Championship and 15th in the last 16 years. Nasky set SUNYAC conference and meet records in winning the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:42.66) with the 15th-fastest time in the country this year, as well as in winning his third-consecutive 500-yard freestyle (4:35.09). He also added a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:44.52) as the Knights compiled 808 points to out-distance runner-up Fredonia and the rest of the nine-team field by 336 points.
