School and SUNYAC Records Set in Track and Field
MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE - Brockport
Zach Ferrara (Rochester, NY/Irondequoit), junior
Zach Ferrara broke his own school record and set a new conference record in the men's pole vault at Hamilton College with a height of 16 ft. 3 1/4 inches (4.96 meters). The previous school record was 15 feet 11 inches that he set a week ago, and the conference record height was 4.95 meters held by Ryan Pericozzi of Cortland. Ferrara won event by almost three feet in a field of 14 competitors and is currently third in the nation.
WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE- Oneonta
Sarah Timmons (Schodack, NY/Maple Hill), senior
Sarah Timmons was the star of the day this past Saturday at the Springfield Invitational for the women's track & field team. She blew away the competition with a SUNYAC record performance in the 20-1bs. weight throw. She eclipsed the mark of 18.25 meters set by Julia Hopson in winning the 2009 national championship with a new mark of 18.40 meters (60'-4.5”). Her throw is a personal best, Oneonta school record and currently sits atop Div. III by nearly three feet.

MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE – Plattsburgh
Ben Depo (Saranac, NY/Saranac), junior
Ben Depo placed fourth behind three Division I athletes in the heptathlon at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational, setting a new school record with a score of 4,622 points. With Depo's performance, he is now ranked first in the ECAC and is seventh on the Division III leader board.

Kelley Driscoll (Geneva, NY/Geneva), sophomore
Kelley Driscoll won the 3,000-meter run at the Dartmouth Indoor Classic with an ECAC-qualifying time of 10:26.02, which was also a personal best. She finished ahead of the other 15 runners in the field by 20 seconds.
