Berube Claims ECAC Honor
The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced on Wednesday that Lee Berube was the Upstate/Metro Region Male Runner of the Week. Berube won the individual title at Penn State’s Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational on Sept. 17th. He completed the 5.2 mile course in 25:54 to lead the Knights to the team championship with 33 points to runner-up Dickinson’s 45 points.
On the heels of the win at Penn State, the Geneseo men’s cross country team advanced one spot to #1 in the Atlantic Region as announced by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
