ECAC Weekly Honor goes to Berube
For the second straight week and third time this season, Geneseo senior Lee Berube has been selected as the ECAC Upstate/Metro Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Berube placed first at the 8K Hoffman Pre-Regional Race at St. Lawrence University over the weekend with a time of 24:39. His finish helped SUNY Geneseo place third at the meet.
Geneseo's men's team fell to #2 in the Atlantic Region poll as announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Tuesday, October 11, after finishing behind new #1 St. Lawrence in the team standings at the Hoffman Pre-Regional race. The Blue Knights travel to Rochester on Saturday.
Berube previously earned ECAC honors on Sept. 20 and Oct. 4.
