Iacovelli Named SUNYAC Runner of the Week
Freshman Jarred Iacovelli (Manahawkin, NJ/Southern Regional) finished in second place and was the top collegiate runner at the Cornell University John Reif Memorial Run on Saturday to earn SUNYAC Male Runner of the Week honors for the week ending Oct. 23.
Iacovelli finished the 5,000-meter race in 17:04.3 on the soggy and wet course.
Cortland will compete next Saturday, October 29, at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls, N.Y.
