SUNYAC student-athletes earn All-America Honors at NCAA Track and & Field Championships
RESULTS
GRINNELL, IA - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) had one national champion and 14 athletes honored as 2016 All-Americans at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa.Â
Buffalo State's Benjamin Ezike won the triple jump national championship with a jump of 15.07 meters.
Buffalo State's Jazmin Porter earned All-American honors in the 400-Meter dash, earning her sixth All-American certificate of her career.Â
Cortland junior Jack Flood earned All-American recognition with his third place finish in the heptathlon, while his teammate Nick Vachon also earned All-American recognition with his seventh place finish in the high jump.
Fredonia's Collin Mulcahy and Brittany Feldman were both honored as All-Americans. Mulcahy for his fifth place finish in the one-mile run and Feldman for her seventh place finish in the 400-Meter Dash.
Oneonta's Joe Carr finished sixth in the 200-Meter Dash while Kayla Clohessy finished seventh in the long jump, earning themelves All-American recognition.
Geneseo track and field captured seven All-American honors. The men's distance medley team consisting of Ryan Moynihan, James Laguerre II, Lorenzo Mazzuca and Isaac Garcia-Cassani took third as Garcia-Cassani also took a third-place finish in the mile. Alexa Wandy took a runner-up finish in the women's triple jump while Camille Wutz finished sixth in the long jump.
