Indoor Track and Field All Conference Teams
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced the 2011 Indoor Track and Field All-Conference honorees today. The SUNYAC recognized 22 men and 22 women who represent the conference’s eight institutions who sponsor the sport.
To be a member of the all-conference team a student athlete must have finished in the top two of an individual event at the Championship Meet held Feb. 26. Winners of the event are named to the first team, while the second team is comprised of the runner-up from each event.
Team champions Buffalo State had five female honorees and six male honorees to lead all schools. Geneseo had eight athletes recognized, while Cortland had seven.
