Marissa Liberati Sets SUNYAC Record and Qualifies for NCAA's
Geneseo sophomore Marissa Liberati (Manchester, NY) automatically qualified to participate in the 2011 Women’s Outdoor Track and Field NCAA Championship.
Liberati won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in an NCAA qualifying, school and SUNYAC record time of 10:37.00 at the Bucknell Bison Open against primarily Division I competition on Friday April 15. She broke the old conference mark by 12 seconds set in 2004.
